Late this afternoon we took a long walk up hill and down dale through the Wellington Botanical Gardens.

By the time we reached this colourful garden area it was dusk, but they seemed to glow in the fading light. Of course they glow even more when seen in large!

Between these rows of wallflowers tulip leaves are just emerging.
