It was a lovely Autumn feeling walk today into work.
It was a good day, until the evening when paramedics called my to say that my father in law had just died, Harry, Selena and I got ourselves testily together and quickly went over. The paramedics arrived within 4 minutes of the call, but couldn’t save him from the heart failure.
I organised the undertakers , and once that had happened, H and S left and returned with things for me,. Then Jean and I remained in the recliners, chatting and crying throughout the night,( she didn’t want to go to bed, and that was fine).
