Mobile home

I forgot to mention yesterday that G cleaned the chimney. I usually document him on the roof but didn't - I don't like seeing him up there! He had to replace the chimney cap, so we went to town today to get a piece of metal for him to make one. He bought a piece then in the hardware store, he found a cap that he just had to put together and it was a reasonable price. So today's extra is him on the roof replacing the cap. I took a deep breath and took a photo of him up there. He doesn't have the same fear of heights that I have.  He's never been stuck up on a roof in a windstorm, hanging onto the chimney for dear life. I have, and it was humiliating for me when he had to come up and help me off the roof.  :-)
I went to town with him. Crazy busy, so many people around. This vehicle was in front of us in the line of traffic that was stopped for the work being done on the walking and cycling path. I think it's supposed to say "Tiny Home" on the sign, but I can't be sure.  Looks like maybe "Tinney"? Tiny homes are very popular here at the moment. Seems awfully expensive though, for a 1988 Chevy.
After seeing NannaK's peach clafoutis blip a couple of days ago, I really wanted to try one, so I made time today to make a peach and blackberry clafoutis. Hope it tastes as good as it looks!
