new neighbours

The cafe was busy today! There was a queue of people waiting outside before we even opened.

After work, I walked around Dumfries looking for a post office to send some parcels, but the opening hours have all changed and my search was in vain. The heavens suddenly opened and I got drenched with rain and then the sun came out and my clothes dried off a bit. I did a little grocery shopping in case the weather is nice enough for some outdoor cooking tomorrow night.

I had a lovely friendly welcome from these ladies when I got home. They only moved into the field yesterday and some of them look like expectant mums.

Time to put my feet up now. Have a good weekend, everyone!
