Inside the Estate Agents.

Somewhat of a challenging week.

As I write this the sun has just come out so who knows we may have a sunny weekend.

Inspiration for a Blip not very forthcoming today but spotted this shot through an estate Agent's window on Bermondsey Street. Unfortunately a lot of reflection but still one of things you would not expect to see in an estate agents.

Sadly an elderly Aunt passed away peacefully yesterday having managed to avoid the virus. She was 96 so a nice long run. Unfortunately the last time I was able to meet up with her was the end of February before lock down set in. Her care home have done a magnificent job in keeping the place virus free. She helped me with my Family History research and I did some research for her. She told me she remembered a car pulling up outside her house when she was 9 and it had an US flag on the bonnet. The gentleman gave her a box of chocolates. After some digging around I discovered the gentleman was James J Couzens who had been a Mayor of Detroit, a US Senator and an associate of Henry Ford. I was amazed she could remember the visit and who the person turned out to be.

Oh well things move on. Stay safe and have a good weekend.
