Farewell to Ann

Today we travelled across the North Yorkshire Moors to Danby for the farewell service and burial of Ann. We were honoured to have been invited by Wendy (aka Viewpoint) as numbers are restricted to 30 because of the pandemic. It was a beautifully sunny day but very windy. This photo of the churchyard was taken from almost the spot of Ann's final resting place. She is in a beautiful place with the moors all around. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

We had known Ann for just a few short years but always enjoyed her company when we met, either when she and Wendy were staying at Danby or when we attended the RPS Yorkshire & North East DIG events.

Now Wendy will need to take care of herself without the company of her beloved Ann and our thoughts and prayers go out to her.
