New Door Bell

The postie alerted us that the ancient doorbell had stopped working. Here's the new one. Even people who aren't strictly speaking visitors (such as the postie and me) are allowed to press it. I suppose it harks back to the days when there would have been a 'tradesman's entrance'. This house was built in 1888 and it would have had such a thing. Plain old 'visitors' works for me.

I'm blipping early as I'm about to chain myself to the desk and desktop pc for a day of work. I've been out with Flora and if I'm quick I'll get the towels out on the line to dry before I start.
