A Busy Day.

Both girls have now got a cold, so no Kindy or dancing.

We started the day with Grandpa making pancakes.

Then a walk to not one, but two play parks.  Mia has now got the hang of swinging herself.  She also climbed up a chain ladder, to go down a slide.  She slipped just as she reached the top, and banged her chin.

After a quick cry, she went back up, and managed it without any help from me.  Just like her sister, very independent and determined.

Back home for a snack, before we went to do our numbers and letters.

Mia went off to play on her own, and Isabella and I went through all the number cards up to 100!!  Whether she'll remember them or not is another matter.  But she's keen to learn.

We had lunch on the balcony.  Until they kept dropping things over the edge.

Out into the garden to run off some steam.  We played ball.  Then a game where I gave them a bucket each and they had to race around the garden picking up as many toys as they could.

We took it in turns to throw the toys around.

They washed their Barbie dolls, and managed to get wet.  Luckily it was a warm day.

By the time Daddy arrived they were playing inside with their dolls.

We fit a lot into our day!!
