Black holes
I volunteer with Pint of Science, which is an Organisation that brings science talks to bars, to provide a relaxed atmosphere where anyone (drinking age) can join. This year we are moving it online pintofscience.de for those interested! It exists all over the world so check events near you!
This talk was outdoors at the Deutsches Museum by a professor working on black holes at the ESO space center in the south of Munich. We had amazing questions from the audience after her talk: what is the maximum size of a black hole (there’s no real limit, they are v stable), can a black hole eat another black hole (yes and this is how we get gravitational waves, which although first detected recently, are now being detected all the time and no one cares any more haha!).
