Bank Holiday Outing

It was a Bank Holiday in England today. Doesn’t make much difference to someone not at work! I spent most of the day at home working on some projects but thankfully got out this evening and enjoyed this beautiful sunset.

This is the riverside (The Thames) near Reading. It was a really chilly evening but I brought a flask of coffee with me and enjoyed the light show. I also enjoyed watching a few boats go past - a narrowboat as well as groups of kayakers. Must have been cold on the river - I was freezing!

I think this was the coldest August Bank Holiday I ever remember. I love Autumn but it feels way too early! Just a couple of weeks ago we were suffering a major heatwave!
