My Dad

Today was a parental field trip to Starbucks. It was time to get them out of the house. We were very careful wearing masks and had the patio all to ourselves. My dad loved his good cuppa coffee and brownie and my mother enjoyed a Frappuccino with a chocolate croissant. They were living it up!!!
I asked them if they could tell me what was their most fun experience in their entire life. If you have time to read, enjoy their responses!

Mom: As a ten year old, my mother enjoyed exploring New York City all by herself. Her favorite place to play was Central Park. She roller skated, fed the ducks, and played with kids . The scariest time was when a group of kids stole her shoes and she had to walk home barefoot!

Dad: As a 12-year-old, my dad spent his summers on his grandfather’s farm. After his chores were over, he was allowed to ride a horse bareback to his Aunt’s farm where he played with his cousins. The scariest time on the horse was when he was hurrying to be back to the farm before it was dark. The horse bolted on a wooden bridge and he had to hold on for dear life! the horse ran right back to the barn!

Loved my sweet time with my parents
