Apple puffs...

... made using filo pastry instead. Hence very non-puff and very brittle. But they were received well by our guests this afternoon and the ice-cream topping helped. I am not given to baking! I’ll have another go though.

My run this morning took me past a new school where great fun was going on. A massive inflatable, wonderful music and lots of team games. Very happy children. Maybe they were making up for missing the end-of- year fun in July. No long queues here today. All must be going to plan and much more smoothly.

My extra had us laughing this afternoon. I challenged D about the 32DD lying on the floor with the decorating stuff waiting to be put away. His knee pads taking on a new look!
