Ludlow

This weekend we're staying with friends in the small town of Bishops Castle on the welsh border.  En-route to then we spent a while exploring the town of Ludlow - a place new to both of us.

A fascinating place - steeped in history but, unlike Ross-on-Wye, not steeped in traffic.  It was very pleasant just wandering around on a sleepy Friday afternoon, thinking I could fill a couple of memory cards with this place, no problem at all.

With Jan and Elisabeth we went to a concert in the evening, by a chamber music ensemble in the function room of the local pub.  It was excellent and we came away with a CD.
