Bed of Willowherb

Up in the highlands of Scotland the scenery is quite magnificent ..... a sunny day makes all the difference.

Our willowherb flowers, in the south have all gone to seed now but up here there are still many purple spears of flowers waiting to burst and release their feathery seeds. 

A super visit to the Highland Wildlife Park this morning and it was surprisingly busy. Good for the park to have so many visitors.
