Shimmer and Sail

A slow start and a mild weathered one today, gentle breezes in the garden. A major shock then, as the local shop had no scones of any description when I called, I was reduced to defrosting one from the freezer.
A lovely walk later on Long Strand, we used to go there religiously, but it's been too busy for our hermit-like tastes recently, normal service back today and the dunes were wind swept and almost deserted. Lovely.
