My First Electric Car

Is sixty-six years old and still works with the batteries installed.

My Dad gave it to me when he bought his first Vauxhall Wyvern. The model was made by Frog.

Another busy day, talking to GR about buying a house to downsize into. The "virus" has caused all sorts of family rearrangements and GR finds the family house taken over by his children and grandchild.

As I was unable to visit the house, I spent some time examining the sales brochure, the home report and Google Earth, especially street view.

The very wide angle photos of the brochure always have to be taken with a pinch of salt, especially when the floor plan is studied.

The "home report" was surprisingly informative. After discussing it with Pat and examining the possibilities of extending we recommended putting in an "offer".

I did suggestion to GR that someone might offer, clear the site and build new.

The VAT rules make that a distinct possibility.
