wet day

Well the weather broke, as forecasted, and we got a bit wet but it did give me a chance to go through all the photos I have taken. I have also posted yesterdays shots.
The weather made us think a visit to Britains smallest city would be ideal however the rest of Pembrokeshire thought the same !  Parking was difficult and much of the beautiful cathedral (in extra) was closed causing the one way system to be busy. It was the first time we haven't taken out a picnic lunch and the cafes and pubs were all take out only and many were closed all together. We ate in the car overlooking a wild looking Newgale Sands.
In the evening we booked to eat out at the Griffin at Dale, renown for its fish dishes. It was the first evening they had allowed people indoors in a much reorganised style, it felt very safe and was only our 2nd meal out since lockdown started. All the sweeter for that. The view out of the window showed the misty sea and the first extra attempts to capture the damp mizzly feel to the evening.
