this is the Korean war memorial.

of all the landmarks etc I found the
Vietnam war memorial the most
moving , more so because it was so
simple , just list apon list naming
the dead; people were taking pencil
rubbings of a family name and I
felt quite overwhelmed and didn't
photograph it
