"The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner'

Probably better known as a film, this short story was published in a collection of the same name by Alan Silittoe, in 1959.

Of course, the camera is lying again.
This was taken on the Glebe foreshore on Blackwattle Bay, and you can't move for runners.
Loneliness is not a problem:)
