If Hummingbirds had a chapel...

This would be one of the stained glass windows.

It was raining, and my only water resistant camera and lens combination is my magnificent Leica SL. The lens, even at 90mm is not suited to birding, but the hummingbirds will soon be gone and I always want to photograph them. Rain jacket on and camera in hand, I gave it a go. The chap was captured as a tiny image with a patio chair behind. It wasn't suitable as is, but the diamond shaped openings in the background  suddenly looked so like windows in lovely dark chapels. So, off to photoshop we went and I think he and his abstracted feathers would make a magnificent leaded window.

For the Record,
This day came in cool and humid with an afternoon of lovely showers.

All hands wary.
