This fabulous looking tomato is from the community farm. It’s sweet and very juicy. A glut has arrived and the tomato sauce making is gearing up. See extra for before and after roasted toms. Just adore the variety of colours and flavours. I often have fancy plans for drying or preserving in oil but a really tasty frozen sauce is what usually happens.
In jeep land the electrics to the horse box are causing problems and I have to defer to Hubs for assistance, which is getting tricky as he’s run off his feet with work at the moment . The virus has been very tough on a lot of people and therapists are ‘in’ at the moment. Hope he can get us safely back on the road in a few days.
Baked marrow stuffed with veg and baked apples tonight, the volume of food coming from the farm is vast. So much prep and compost tho and I’m developing peeler and cutters wrist!!
