Back to Charlecote

This Tudor estate has always been one of my favourites. My parents brought me here as a child. I was fascinated by tales of Shakespeare being caught by the gamekeeper for poaching.

Today was my friend’s first visit and I was delighted they’d opened more of the gardens, including the inner courtyard. 

We were lucky with interesting blue skies and unusual clouds over the sharp trees and angles.
