Fabulous Falls

Today we had a lovely bush walk and a picnic lunch in the Morton National Park at Fitzroy Falls. The falls plunge 80m into the Yarrunga Valley below. The combination of the cascading water and the golden sandstone cliffs is spectacular, especially in the late afternoon sunshine.

Mercifully this part of the park escaped the bushfires earlier this year.
