Lending a cinematic dimension to today's blip in honour of last night's BAFTAs, where facial hair was the order of the day. And as for the men .....

I actually hate pigeons and here is why ....

1. I was pooped on by one
2. They poop with abandon and without regard for what they are pooping on
3. They look seriously creepy. Fat, with little eyes and pointy heads.
4. They are excellent disease vectors
5. They fight with the nicer birds for thrown scraps of bread

On my recent visit to Luxor, pigeon was a local delicacy. I declined.
