Strike

Most of the teachers* are on strike tomorrow protesting against the proposed reforms to the school timetable (at primary school there are currently lessons Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and no school on Wednesday). Monsieur Hollande is proposing a 5 day week ....sacré bleu!

Given cuckaloos look today when I got the camera out the teachers won't be on the only ones on strike.

*all the teachers in our little village are striking except for Mlle L's. She has though been cunningly mentioning her 'very sore head' and 'extremely painful throat' every 5 minutes or so all evening so is, I am sure, lining up a day off tomorrow anyway!
