Morning light

I went to the gardens at Fort Vancouver this morning, what a change two weeks has made.  The pumpkins are huge and orange, the sunflowers are mostly spent and many of the plants had been removed.  So I walked around the back side of the closed fort and saw so many signs of autumn, I was a little surprised.  So  many apples on the ground, which was going to be my photo today, but on the way back to the car I saw the sum through this tree and loved the way the lower branches were lit up.
