Tiny Tuesday: Comma butterfly

There were a pair of these in the garden yesterday, but today we were only visited by the one.  I'm hoping that nothing too untoward befell this one's friend, but its that time of year when the spiders start to get a bit bigger and more voracious, and the birds are stocking up ready for Autumn.

My brother Brentastic and his family should shortly be somewhere on their way to the UK from the USA.  Covid rules mean that they will have to isolate for 14 days, but we are all looking forward to seeing them and, in due course being able to spend some time with them.
