Another rose!

We had some friends round for tea yesterday and they brought me these beautiful roses from their garden. The colour is just lovely.

I'm very glad I blipped the little rose by our kitchen door yesterday because today I noticed it on the ground.  The stem had been chewed through by somebody who shall remain nameless (Ivy!).  This seems to be a new trick of hers.  In fact, having blipped our clematis at the weekend we noticed that the stem of that has also been chewed through and it's looking pretty sorry for itself now!  I think our favourite plants will have to be protected by some chicken wire or something similar in the future...
