Enjoying The Flowers

I was up and out relatively early this morning to meet Ali and Monty to go for a walk. Unfortunately when we got to the yard, poor Monty was rather lame with a sore hoof. Once Monty was made comfortable and left snug in his stable we headed off for our walk and were joined by new livery Sandy and her lovely pony Leppi. The sun was out, the cows had been moved and China was back to his chilled self...what more could you ask for?

I got home to a request from Eldest to go for a walk with his camera. He was given a ‘vintage’ film camera by J for their one year anniversary and was very disappointed to find none of the photographs from their recent holiday in Cornwall came out well. When we had a look we found the internal light meter battery needed replacing. With his now properly working camera, we went into the local woods but I wasn’t inspired and ended up taking this shot in my front garden where plenty of bees were enjoying the flowers.
