Flirty

The forecast had been for rain so I thought I might be spared another day hacking back in the garden. Wrong! It was lovely though the ground was damp, perfect for pulling up miles of creeping buttercup, teasels. bindweed, brambles and other miscreants that seem to have taken over the parking area. 
I kept the Japanese anemone though.
Can it really be September?
