Glorious morning....

golden and sunny for the start of September. Great to walk through the purple heather and enjoy the warmth. There were lots of Grouse, Pipits and Stonechats and the Small Scabious Mining Bees were still active in the meadow.
From the high track on the moor here was able to see Morvern in Caithness, amazing distance! Also, saw the oil tanker lying in the Moray Firth. Always think it strange to see ships when so far inland!
