More tales from the river bank

Took the mountain bike into work today as I'm waiting for a rear mech hanger for the hybrid, so I though I would check out the rumour that they had been doing some work down by the river.


They've only gone and renewed the hard core along it's length, dug out and drained the cruddy 50 mud bath and started tarring it.... like with proper tarmacadam!! Nice....

Felt not to bad going in all things considered but posted some no' bad times on the way back, we'll see what happens to the times when the path is finished and I take the skinny bike onto it.
