End of days

The last day of this month offcially brings to a close my employment at RC, Istanbul, after 22 years, and with it, my last pay cheque, ever.  Having received by email the necessary paperwork this morning, Graham drove me to the SGK (social security) office in Didim to officially register as retired. 

We then drove to Akbuk to try to see a doctor or pharmacist cos Graham seems to have an ear infection, after which we went to Pasa restaurant on the sea front and stayed for simply ages, hours in fact, over a meal and leisurely beers, after all, nowt else to do, until finally the sun left us at the end of another but rather significant day.
