My Home Town
A quiet day again today, had a wee drive down to my mum's (3 miles) to take her for her pension and it wasn't sore when I tried an emergency stop so that means I can drive short distances now, but I will still take it easy as I don't want to overdo it.
The blip today is off the Bilston Burn walk from the link between old Bilston and new Bilston. Bilston is my home town, I lived there for 25 years before I got married and moved away so it was nice to be back again today taking some snaps of the area where the famous Bilston Burn flows.
I fell in it once when I was ten and I hid my wet clothes behind the sofa but my mum did find them and yes, I did get a good telling off. Oh the memories, so many stories I could tell you but that will do for now.
