It's only taken a YEAR!!!!

Last winter I raised my concerns with our builders with regards to the garden "holding" water. During my initial conversation with the builders they took great delight in telling me...."if it's outwith 3m of your house then we, as builders, are not required to place any drainage!"......I then took great delight in telling them "it is within 3m of our house and therefore you are required to place drainage in!!!". They claimed they had requested the landscape gardener to fulfill this requirement but somehow it never happened until today.

They are here at 8am this morning to insert this drainage into the garden. I am not convinced that this drainage is sufficient to resolve the issue but we will see!!!

When Big Johnny arrived home tonight he then highlighted that our neighbours over the back, Scott and Hazel, should really highlight that the water at the bottom of our garden is within 3m of their house???? Must mention it to Hazel.

I took the kids to Animal Magic this morning and met Lisa, Claire, Julie and Alison and umpteen kids!!!! They all had a great time and so did us Mums.

We then went to see Granny and Papa for an hour but I think we might just stress my father out a bit!!!!!

Megan is just about to go to drama and then Sophie is coming back to ours for a sleepover.

Full house of my kids and friends tomorrow and then it will be back to school!!!!
