I used to be...

...scared of this. I still find it a little creepy. We used to walk here when we were little, then i would run  past it. We explored it today when out for a walk (with lunch deep in the woods, listening to where the bird song was coming from, a game the eldest is rather good at). It is so decayed now, but one upon a time when I can remember, you could see the seat and stove and really get a feel for the inside (it had a roof then).

Fab day out in the wood for hours and a very good blackberry haul. 

Today im grateful for
Hour and a bit home alone and time.to sort out a room that needed attention - looking far better now
Lovely lunch in the middlemof the wood, we didn't see anyone, but did see deer
The youngest telling me he had had a lovely read and the tractora (in the book) had shiny tyres, as he was just about to fall asleep.
