An Expensive Day

We took Mabel to the vet this morning, because she is still ailing.  With the Covid-19 rules, we had to park in the vet's lot and call them on the phone.  Eventually a technician appeared and took Mabel off to be examined.  We were told she would be sedated and then X-rays would be done, and they would call us "in an hour" to let us know Mabel was ready to come home.  Four hours later we finally heard from them -- we were beginning to get worried!  Naturally, the test results were inconclusive, and she has been sent home with anti-nausea medication and probiotics, as well as some special bland food.  This was all handed to us in that black bag you see at lower right.  I have dubbed it "The $1,000 suitcase".  Ouch.
