Ladies Who Lunch

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I met Lovely Shuvly and Skippy for lunch today. IN DISHOOM. IN THE CENTRE OF TOWN!

Skippy has been very unwell recently so it was really nice to actually catch up with her and Shuvly, as always was on great form. She is one of those people that I could happily listen to all day. One of life’s natural storytellers.

And then there was chilli chicken. And masala prawns. And paneer and pineapple. And a bootle of wine. Skippy was having a teary moment just as the food came out. It looked so amazing that I have to admit to having a moment of wondering if it would be insensitive to eat one if the prawns*!

The Prince headed out to meet a friend for beers just after I came home and The Eldest Mini Princess nominated Frozen 2 as the film for the evening.

I was quite happily singing along until The Youngest Mini Princess issued a cease and desist with “No Mum, it’s a solo, not a duet.”

As if being in tune is a big deal!
