Channerwick

South Mainland Monday took me down into Channerwick. Although only a four mile round trip to walk there and back it is one of these places you seldom visit because it is so close by.  The old ruined church that can be see down by the beach is slowly falling away into the sea. Apparently within the last couple of years an old broch site has been discovered deep in the undergrowth near to the church.
