One sick little boy, meant a day working from home
John boy is clearly missing his brother and mummy as he was pathetic yesterday. Wanted lots of cuddles, sleep and wouldn't eat for me.
Still wouldn't eat this morning (after his 13.5 hour long nap), but did take a bottle of milk (albeit threw up a mouthful or two).
Took him round to nursery half expecting to have to pick him up. But apart from the fact he was quiet, and slept a lot (another 3 hours round there today) he did at least eat almost all his food.
So at just after 6 he's already gone to bed again.
At least when I was at home I got the opportunity to catch up with some work emails, and complete a bit more of my annual review (although I imagine in a few months time I'll be saying why do I bother when I end up with a 0% pay rise yet again.
There are a few benefits in working from home. No 3 hour commute, no mindless drivel from people sitting near me, a toaster downstairs (today was Heinz SpagBol on toast), and my trackerball.
Unlike my funny keyboard; I only have one trackerball so it stays at home. It really does help my RSI.
The other downside of working from home is the house is old, big and draughty - so it's cold. I should really have lit the wood burning stove - but I wasn't sure how the day was going to pan out.
Hopefully tomorrow back to the office.
