Rusty

I liked the colours on the rusty gate at Highnam Woods RSPB NR and she blends in well with her colour coordination. Lovely to see the darters basking in the sun. This is a Common Darter - you can tell this because she has a yellow stripe down her legs.

The gate across the car park seems to have been there for years now as there were dodgy goings on in there. Allegedly. I don't like leaving the car on the verge on a busy A road, it had to be but rather annoying with all that space just the other side.

I tried out contact lenses using my camera today rather than wearing my glasses.The manual focusing for the flight shots was tricky and at one point everything just went blurred. I think I'm just going to have to persevere though as it would make life a lot easier.
