Park bench

Back of this bench commemorates this seaside park used by RAF Greenock to service Flying Boats and train infantry. Adjacent was a torpedo factory and Fort Matilda with a gun battery to fend off Napoleonic invasion in 1812
People now use the park for walking picnics childrens playparks cricket football skateboarding and gymnastics. We did the first two! loving the great seaviews and passing boats of course.
