Broad acres

Steph is here today and we decided to make the most of the fine morning with a jaunt up Castle Hill. It is the Iron Age fort with a motte and Victorian tower that dominates this part of Yorkshire.
It was almost windless, dry, sunny and warm. I don’t recall ever being up there in a sleeveless top before.
Home in time for a late lunch and to log onto the third Folk on Foot festival.
A lovely day.
