Deflation
I was watching two hot air balloons over early coffee, sailing far in the distance. One disappeared over the Cotswold Escarpment, and I didn't expect the other to do anything different.
It was inevitable therefore that I was in the shower when this one decided to come down just over the garden hedge, but Janet's excited yell meant I at least saw the touchdown and collapse.
When we lived in South Bristol it was a kind of weekend early morning alarm call to hear the rush of the gas jets as all the balloons from Ashton Court sailed low over us. I still miss that, and it's nice to have a visit.
