Last day of August.

I spent some time before lunch yesterday deadheading roses and flowers in the borders.
Then weeding.
We had been to the Garden Centre on Saturday for some compost and more pebbles for the rockery I have been clearing bit by bit.
There is still a lot of colour, due to recent rain.
There is a glimpse of it in extras.
I’ve been up the garden as usual pre breakfast, and taken the photos.
Just having a fresh mug of ground coffee and enjoying the view from the patio window.
Quiet skies and autumnal stillness outside.
