Green lane

I had a lovely Fika morning with a couple of my craft friends - all yesterday’s baking came in handy and the sun shone for us. Later I went for a walk; this secluded green lane was severed decades ago by the A47 Castor bypass. But the two stage sprint across the dual carriageway wasn’t too bad this afternoon and the walk then emerges in the heart of the old village. Kept thinking I should’ve been in Spain, in my van now, how the world has changed.
