Tysons Walkabout

This evening W. and I spent a good hour walking around the giant construction zones of Tysons. This area, half an hour east of us toward DC, is expanding like crazy; a few decades ago it was a little crossroads with a farmer's market and the only traffic light along Leesburg Pike, and until recently was still called Tyson's Corner. It felt odd and strangely sterile wandering around at night, with everything brightly lit and nobody else about.
