Sunday or Sundae

Henry (above) and his parents came to visit today.  We had a wonderful time catching up in person on the deck (them) and back porch (us).  During lockdown, Henry has learned some new bird songs.  His parents' favorite is a male cardinal mating song.  I'm not sure what our neighborhood birds thought of it, but we loved it.  SR (a former grower) gave us some great ideas for areas we want to re-do in our yard.  We're aiming for lower maintenance and he said the magic word:  heather! 

It was just lovely to spend an afternoon with them.
