Changes In The Works Starting Next Week!

We have been having one blended music service since lockdown started, but starting next Sunday, we will be having the two separate music services again---one more traditional and one more contemporary.  It means that I won't be able to photograph both music services without some serious shuffling between those services.  We will just have to see what happens!  Our Pastor is still out, so one of our favorite "filler-inners", as my mom likes to call him, David Smith, director of missions for our association, spoke to us today.  He reminded us of several Biblical strategies for difficult times including being more concerned for God's glory than our own relief, acknowledging our enemy but keeping our eyes on God, praying, remaining calm and confident and giving God time to work, remembering to praise Him and being thankful.  He gave us quite a lot to think about.  Then we got the chance to honor Matt Downing and his family for 10 years of service as Pastor to our Youth!  It was quite a full morning and we were truly blessed and inspired!
