Sunday: Garden Treasures

Another dry, calm day, not very warm but a nice change from wind and rain.
MrD went off on his motorbike. I put some steak in gravy in the slow cooker for his dinner then had a couple of hours in the garden.
The Cosmos have recovered very well from the bad weather and the bees were all over them, see today’s blip. 
Purple mallow also caught my eye, bottom left.

And in the top right corner is a very beautiful Rose Bay Willow Herb ... not a weed, haha :-))
At dusk last night we heard the geese, flying towards the sea, a couple of minutes later they flew back over us, heading inland, there were about 30 of them ...
It’s very chilly again tonight but I’m resisting the urge to switch the heating on!
